Our Mission

Trade Union Sky Blues (TUSB) is a supporters’ group for fans and staff associated with Coventry City Football Club. We are united by a shared commitment to trade union values, working-class solidarity, and social justice—on and off the terraces.

Coventry is a city with a strong association with the trade union movement. We believe that football belongs to the people. Coventry City Football Club is part of the city’s social fabric. It is the cultural lifeblood of working-class communities and it must remain accessible, democratic, and inclusive. Our group exists to connect the spirit of trade unionism with the passion for supporting Coventry City FC

We stand for:

  • Solidarity with Workers – We support the rights of all staff, directly and indirectly employed by Coventry City FC, from matchday workers to non-playing staff. We advocate for fair pay, union representation and dignity in the workplace.
  • Equality and Inclusion – We oppose all forms of discrimination, including racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and ableism. We celebrate diversity and welcome fans and staff of all backgrounds and identities.
  • Class Consciousness – We recognise football’s deep roots in working-class life. We oppose the corporate takeover of the game and fight for affordability, accessibility and community ownership
  • Democracy in Football – We support fan representation, transparency, and ethical governance in football.
  • International Solidarity – We stand with workers and oppressed communities around the world, including those exploited in the global football industry.
  • Pride in Coventry City FC – We love our club. We celebrate its history, its working-class identity and its role in the life of our city. We are against the club playing home matches outside Coventry, and support the team with passion and purpose, guided by values that matter.

TUSB is more than a supporters’ group—it’s a movement. Whether you’re a lifelong supporter, a stadium steward, or a union activist who loves the beautiful game, we welcome you to join us.

Our Constitution

Our club is democratic with a clear constitution which was agreed by our members.

Our constitution will be available to read once ratified by the committee.
